Subject: vacation time

Hello from Edingen, just between Heidelberg and Mannheim. I'm writing from my girlfriend's house, and we are packing our bags to head to Holland. I have just finished my summer research paper and sent it off today, and now it is time for a vacation! What?--many of you will ask--Aren't you on a vacation? Well of course, but if life is a vacation then perhaps I am always out to lunch...

but the research was a blast, although a lot of hard work these last few days trying to get things typed up. We'll be gone in Holland for about four or five days We're driving there overnight--geil--and then she returns to start school on Monday of next week and I finally get to see Berlin. I can't wait, and so armed with Dr. Giles' advice, I am going to roam the streets of Berlin for a few days, maybe head into Prague if I get a chance and have enough money to get me to the city, and then return to Edingen for the last week that I am here. Nicole, I hope to catch up with you in Düsseldorf, maybe around Sunday of next week, and Diana, I can NOT wait to see you again!
